Guidelines for healthy eating…

Eating well is essential to remain in good health and top physical condition.

In terms of food intake, excess and deprivation are equally harmful.
The key is therefore to eat a varied and balanced diet, and to enjoy meals!

Some 'golden rules' for feeling good in body and mind…

- Vary your diet and eat moderate-sized portions

Eat all kinds of food to counter nutritional deficiency and frustration! Don't deprive yourself. Simply limit your intake of certain foods.

- Make sure eating remains a pleasure

Whatever happens, continue to enjoy food and nurture your taste for sharing.

- Eat 3 square meals a day

Missing a meal will not make you lose weight. On the contrary, you will tend to 'compensate' at the next meal, or even nibble in between meals…

- Drink

Drink as much water as you can: your body needs one and a half litres of water every day.
Enjoy a variety of drinks to avoid monotony setting in: water; vegetable juice; stock; tea, herbal tea or coffee (unsweetened); and a little red wine.

- Move it!

Keep on the move. If you are not physically active, try to build the equivalent of half an hour of fast walking into your day (walking, climbing stairs, cycling, etc).
